Working with Glass processing equipment such as beam saws and drilling machines makes cutting and setting holes in glass a much faster process. However the drawbacks of using this machinery is that it's quite hard to see where the glass is going to be cut or drilled.

When cutting glass the laser helps to mark the cutting line. When drilling glass the laser beam extends the drill axis and marks the exact entering point of the drill on the material that is to be processed.

Laser guides have been used for many years now, by many different companies as standard equipment on their machines. Z-Laser Champion guide lights are often supplied as standard - mainly on beam saws.
