meters from Leica and BOSCH.

Laser distance meters such as the DISTO by Leica (of Switzerland), and the DLE150 by BOSCH of Germany use lasers to accurately measure distances anywhere from 300mm, up to 200 metres. Depending on the distance being measured, accuracy is +/-1.5mm. If you're really after accuracy, do what's called a 'tracking' measurement and you can get a reading to the millimetre.

The main benefits of using one of these lasers can be found listed below:

Save Time and Money

Save your valuable time and money by reducing your measuring and mapping time by half – a task easily done by only one worker.

Any Size
On the DISTO models, you can use the handy self timing function and to achieve accurate measurements, no matter how big. Even large halls 60 – 80m can be easily measured.

Room Height
Any room height can be easily measured by simply positioning DISTO upright on the floor and activating the self timer and pressing just 2 buttons. Ceiling details are also easily measured with a photo-monopod, or camera tripod.

Pinpoint Accuracy
When you need absolute precision, DISTO gives you results. Simply hold the trigger aimed at your target and trigger the self timer.

Online Work
With DISTO, you can work continuously online with a variety of easy to use options.

Accessories
A variety or accessories are also available to maximise the capabilities of DISTO.

Bluetooth
This is now available on DISTO plus and DLE150 Connect. Get your bluetooth-enabled PC to communicate directly with your laser and transfer the readings directly. No more transcription errors!
