Chain Measurements
Measure a succession of distances in a few easy steps by using the handy subtraction feature.
Measuring outdoors with ease
Liquids
When measuring clear or translucent liquids, use a plumb bob and float or fill a tube with plastic balls.
Measuring Narrow Pipes
Avoid reflections when measuring straight through narrow pipes by
blackening the inside. If possible, also add some additional clearance
to the laser beam. When measuring short distances, cut away some of the
surface of the receiving lens. Remember to always make a pre-test
before finalising the application.
Measuring Heights
To measure heights of industrial buildings with vertical sheet
metal cladding, point the laser beam to the underneath of the fascia
cladding. The laser point will be visible in the shadow.
