Leica's new D2 regains the mantle of smallest laser distance meter.

The D2 sure is tiny. But not too tiny. The buttons are still comfortable to use, and the screen is big enough for even Blind Freddy to see (well, visually challenged Freddy)

The new flip-out rear is MUCH better to use than the Hilti or Bosch style prongs that seem to bend and flex at the most inconvenient moments, making this new Disto one of the easiest to use yet!

Best of all, the D2 is priced at less than $300... not as cheap as say the Bosch DLE50, but that goes for the level of quality too.
