Coordinate measuring system for countless applications for alignment, monitoring and measurement

Laser Target LZ-75

We have expanded our portfolio of popular precision laser receivers with the new high-performance LZ-75 laser target, which offers two-dimensional determination of position and orientation. The frequent requirement to determine the position of a dot-shaped laser beam on a plane arises from various application profiles and can be solved universally and flexibly with the LZ-75.

Alignment

The reference of the measurement is always a dot-shaped laser beam. For example, you project a centre point on the ground vertically upwards with our plumb laser. The relative position of components or constructions above it is determined automatically with the attached laser target and sent to a laptop, for example by wireless transmission. The position is thus determined virtually in real time and can be monitored or corrected. With a horizontal beam laser, this arrangement can of course also be transmitted for alignment work along a reference axis.

Monitoring

Thanks to continuous data transmission, the LZ-75 can also be used easily for monitoring systems. For example, to monitor a tower’s continuous movement in the wind, it suffices to place a precision plumb laser on the foundation and an LZ-75 target in the upper area. The position data is available almost in real time and can be evaluated and stored easily. An alarm in the case of critical changes from the reference position is a useful by-product.

Measurement

If you project a reference axis into a space with a laser beam, regardless of whether it is vertical or horizontal, it is possible to scan any component or structure geometries with the LZ-75 and thus determine the actual position relative to the reference position. Whether for measuring the torsions of a rail structure, the correct alignment of attachments or the lateral movements of a lift in a lift shaft, these tasks are no longer particular challenges with the LZ-75.

Flexible application possibilities

If you project a reference axis into a space with a laser beam, regardless of whether it is vertical or horizontal, it is possible to scan any component or structure geometries with the LZ-75 and thus determine the actual position relative to the reference position. Whether for measuring the torsions of a rail structure, the correct alignment of attachments or the lateral movements of a lift in a lift shaft, these tasks are no longer particular challenges with the LZ-75.

And as with all our products, GEO also stands with this product not only for highest quality, but also for flexible and customer-specific solutions.
